        Evangelist Skinner a power house and woman on fire for God believe all people are here for a purpose.  With the help of her anointed leaders Apostle George Cooke III and Prophetess Jeanette Cooke founders and Pastor of New Joy Worship Center her relationship with Christ has flourished with unremitting growth.
​     Empowered by Gods unchanging love it has given her a thirst and determination to be sould-out for Jesus no matter what comes and what goes.

2016 Guest Speaker, Dr. Brenda Harris Gooch

     ​Pastor Dr. Brenda Harris Gooch serves as the senior pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church East End (TBCEE) in Newport News, VA.  She was licensed to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in July 2002 and ordained as an elder in February 2004.  Love for God and His people, teaching, integrity and visionary leadership best describe the ministry of Pastor Gooch
 
     Pastor Gooch has served other ministries by preaching and teaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping to organize Christian Education programs.  She is a strong proponent of education and in June 2013 earned the Doctor in Ministry degree from Providence Bible College and Theological Seminary, Norfolk, Virginia, where she currently serves as a Professor.   She holds academic degrees and certificates in Management, Business and Public Administration, Biblical Studies, Master Motivational Gifts Teacher and Biblical Entrepreneurship.  Brenda served for 30 years as a federal civil servant and retired in September 2001.  
 
     Her life-long motto has been “if I can help somebody as I travel through this life, then my living will not be in vain.”  Many have attested to personal growth and a greater relationship with Christ because of her teaching, preaching and mentoring.  She gives God all the Glory!
