Biography - Minister Anita Lewis

​      Wife. Mother. Daughter. Sister. Friend. Minister. These are just some of the titles Anita Lewis wears. If you were to ask her what her most important title is, she would say “Loved by God”. That is how she identifies herself. She acknowledges that realizing the depth of God’s love for her saved her life and continues to keep her daily. One of her favorite scriptures is, “But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned to me by the Lord Jesus.” (Acts 20:24 NLT).

      This has become an affirmation that she speaks over herself, praying that she fulfills the purpose that God has for her life. Anita feels called to minister to and encourage those who are hurting and/or have been wounded in life. She has a passion for sharing the love of God so that people can realize their worth and fulfill their God-given destiny. In addition to being an educator and a dynamic speaker, Anita is a wife and mother of four. She and her husband, David, reside in Pennsylvania. They attend Higher Ground Church International where she serves as a minister.

      She has written two books.  The first, Lessons for Young Ladies in Waiting, is a book on self-esteem, relationships, and dating for young ladies. The second is a devotional called Wait...the New Four-Letter Word that encourages Believers of all ages in their walk with God. Both are available on Amazon. Anita is also the co-founder of Young Ladies in Waiting, a non-profit organization for teen girls.  Her life scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the Lord. Thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
